Date: March 21
Time: 10a – 4p
Workshop Fee: $50
Class size: 12
This has got to be one of my favorite workshops of the year! I love herbs, especially medicinal herbs! This Workshop will introduce you to local herbs, ones that live right outside your front door. And you’ll also learn how to use those herbs to benefit you and your family.
This is a 6 hour class….we will take a break for lunch and share lunch together. We ask that everyone bring a dish to share. In past years, we’ve had such amazing food!
This is also a hands-on workshop. You will “make and take”. You’ll learn how to make salves, tinctures, and lotions.
If you’re into herbs and using them for yourself, you don’t want to miss this 1/2 day workshop!
And I’m very pleased to let you know that Anne-Marie Bilella of Bella Vista Farm will be our herbalist/teacher. She is passionate about her plants and teaching others about this fascinating alternative to over the counter drugs.
Here’s a note from Anne-Marie:
Come learn about medicinal herbs and how to use them as food and medicine. We will go over the herbs, pick some from the farm and make medicines for you to take home, everything from teas and tinctures to salves and lotions. Please bring 3 glass pint canning jars with lids and a notebook.
We look forward to seeing you on the 21st of March!
