We are so excited to offer our first Farm to Table Spring Brunch here at the Lazy B on April 20th from 10:00a – noon.
Each of our Farm to Tables for 2019 will feature a different non-profit organizations in the Athens area. 10% of the profits will be donated to a selected organization. Our very first is the National Ladies Homestead Gathering which began here at the farm and now reaches women all over the country! Our mission is to empower women through homesteading by sharing knowledge, building community and growing friendships. Info about this organization will be available at the Spring Brunch.
A short tour of the farm will begin our morning together.
Next, a fabulous Spring Brunch will be served while surrounded by the beautiful music of our String Duo.
I am so honored to announce our musicians, Serena Scibelli on violin and Rob Sutherland on cello.
Ms. Scibelli is the Concertmaster of the Athens Symphony and a faculty member at University of North Georgia, Gainsville.
Mr. Sutherland studied cello at the University of Georgia and Oxford in England. He is the assistant principal cellist of the Athens Symphony and a private music instructor at Good Dirt in Athens.
Once again, Jeff Daniell, our incredibly talented chef and his team from Farmview, will magically transform our Lazy B beef and pork into a sumptuous meal for all our guests.
Please view the menu for the morning:
