We’ve all heard of lard. Fat from a hog. And maybe some of us have a can for bacon fat under our sink…which is essentially a can of lard. But have you ever thought about making lard an essential staple in your kitchen?
Did you know lard has less calories than butter? Did you know it’s been used for centuries as a cooking oil? Oh, and there’s so much more we want to share!
Our special guest will be Kjesti from our Kitchen Confidence blog. We’ll teach you how to render pig fat, store lard, and use lard in your everyday cooking.
Kjesti will teach us all how to make fabulous biscuits with lard!
