When my kids were younger, they all helped with the chores.  I wanted them to learn the skills associated with homesteading and the discipline and responsibility of having animals.  It&#039;s been interesting to me to see how they&#039;ve each used this knowledge as they have grown.  I plan to write a blog on homesteading with children :-)

		<description>Wow! How insightful and familiar this is. My family is supportive but they don&#039;t always share my enthusiasm. I do have to say that it helps to let the kids pursue the aspects that interest them but not insist they have knowledge of every farm venture. They each have their strengths and if we allow them to follow their passions we have a joyful existence. When we buck against the natural, we see chaos and instability. Much like we see in any system that is unbalanced.</description>
